Wonderful, affordable hotel in the heart of Stade's incredible Altstadt. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet with excellent sleep quality. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good, with the only negative being the parking -- there's not any parking on site and I had problems finding an open space in the public parking a few blocks away.

Right in the centre the hotel comprises two adjacent buildings. you can stop in front of the hotel to unload but then the car has to find a place to park. The staff were very good in arranging this for us. Our room was great - it overlooked the market square and had everything you needed. A really good night's sleep so the bed must have been fine. Restaurants abound in the square - the best one we found almost opposite - Rons Pannekoken Hus on the corner of Kehdinger Str. and Wasser West. Breakfast in the morning was the usual excellent fare served up in Germany. The location is ecellent for wandering through the old town, exploring the church and the museum - all worth a visit.

Being in this hotel during the Xmas period has been a dream.

Really clean and tidy. Nice beds and plenty of space in the 7 pers appartment. Would really love to come back. Love from the fam. Ejdesgaard, Faroe Islands.

Good and coizy rooms for single travellors with familiar and friendly a**osphere. People are very quite, so it is easy to find sleep. Restaurants are very close, so there is no fear to leave the hotel in the evening to have a nice evening.

We had made a reservation at this place and really enjoyed it, but it was hard to find. Finally we just found a parking spot and went out on foot, asking people along the way. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately their parking situation is complicated too. We had to drive around the city center and park in a parking garage of a large shopping center. Then it was a 5-10 min walk back to the hotel. We enjoyed our stay, it's a unique hotel in an interesting part of the city, lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel may have handicap possibilities, but I did not see it. Lots of steps and different levels. Extremely low ceilings! (see picture) I am 5'4" and didn't have much clearance to the ceiling, so tall people beware. Breakfast was good.

Once again we returned to this vey nice hotel. We got a nice room with a view towards the center of Stade. Service and breakfast was perfect - no complains. We will for sure be back whenever we are on the road again..

Well situated, old (seventeenth century?) but very clean and cosy hotel with excellent reception, very friendly hosts. Breakfast with lots of choice, warm and cold, 5 types of bread, even vegan (chicpea) options.
